Learn From the Ground Up will not offer any aviation or pilot certification of any kind, including Private Pilot certification, Sport Pilot certification, or ground-school certification; no aircraft ratings will be offered: this includes Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Tailwheel Endorsement, ATP Rating, any Type Rating, or Commercial License. In addition, this curriculum is not endorsed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), any aviation organization, and does not plan to be.

No logbook endorsements are offered through Learn From the Ground Up.

Flight Instructors, pilots, or any aviation professional are not authorized to endorse any kind of certification (e.g. logbook, resume, degree, etc.) through the content in this curriculum.

Learn From the Ground Up does not follow any formal of aviation curriculum, such as Part 61 or Part 141. Learn From the Ground Up does not follow any other educational initiatives that other aviation organizations pursue (e.g. AOPA, etc.).

Learn From the Ground Up does not and will never encourage students to fly aircraft when not authorized, nor does Learn From the Ground Up encourage students to attempt flight without a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).

Learn From the Ground Up does not offer any form of professional information to fly any type of aircraft, including aircraft that require no formal certicication to fly (e.g. ultralight/trike, paramotor, glider).

The content in Learn From the Ground Up is NOT guaranteed to be accurate and is NOT designed to be part of any flight training program. The content within the courses of Learn From the Ground Up was created through various forms of research, primarily through the Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge (Federal Aviation Administration). Learn From the Ground Up was formed through a Senior Capstone Project by the collaboration between an aspiring aviator and an experienced pilot.

The courses presented in this curriculum exist to facilitate the growth of aviation to individuals of all communities and does not and will never serve as a substitute for ground school in pilot training.

All formal flight training must be done in accordance with a certified flight school, not with Learn From the Ground Up.
